About Off-Grid Systems

Relying on the grid is getting more expensive and less reliable. That’s why more homes and businesses are turning to off-grid systems.

Off-grid setups aren’t connected to the grid (or only partially) and generate their own power using solar panels and batteries. They’re self-reliant, providing all the energy a building needs—even during outages or in remote locations.

With modern, affordable options, including Victron’s advanced technology, it’s now easier than ever to enjoy uninterrupted, independent power without breaking the bank.

Advanced Victron Technology for Off-Grid Systems

At EECO Energy, we rely on Victron’s advanced technology to deliver reliable off-grid solar systems.

Victron’s MPPT solar charge controllers maximise the energy your panels capture, even in low light.

Their MultiPlus and Quattro inverters ensure clean, stable power for your home or business while offering flexibility to integrate with backup generators or partial grid setups.

Victron’s modular battery systems allow you to scale energy storage as needed, providing uninterrupted power, even during outages.

With their smart monitoring tools like the Cerbo GX, you can easily track and optimise energy use for maximum efficiency and savings.

Using Victron, we can build systems you can trust to stay powered and independent.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We are really pleased with the advice given to us by Philip Wilson on choice of the solar energy system that would be most advantageous to our needs. The installation of the panels and battery etc were carried out very efficiently and aftercare advice and support has been excellent.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great support from Phillip who gave us the information we needed to decide on the system that worked best for us and for making sure the installation was a neat and tidy job. We are very pleased with how ECCO managed the process from our decision to installation and the aftercare they provide.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I was looking for ways of bringing down the cost of my electricity. My standing order of £90 plus per month and heading upwards.
I contacted a number of companies for quotes including EECO where I met Philip Wilson who took time taking me through the whole process and what I could achieve by investing in solar.
I decided EECO was my company of choice. Philip and his team took us through the complete process, and dealing effectively with any problems which arose which were minor. . My direct debit has gone from £95 to £69 a month in 1.5 months. I also have credit with my electricity supplier. That’s a result of. Philip is always available for advice.
Wish I had done it sooner. I have not obtained any incentive by EECO this my true thoughts on Solar and EECO

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Absolutely delighted with the service from EECO Energy from start to finish.

A special mention to Simon Trainor, our client liaison, who was first class throughout. He was extremely responsive, explained everything clearly and continues to quickly answer any questions we have.

From confirming the system, the full installation was completed within two weeks, which was brilliant. The roofing team and electricians arrived when they said they would and made sure everything was installed neatly and discreet.

We shopped around beforehand and EECO also offered the best price for the system we wanted.

The solar and battery combination has been brilliant. We're now at the point where, even on an overcast day, the house is basically running for free from the solar and stored battery power.

Great price, professional installation and, most importantly, excellent service before and after the job. Would happily recommend EECO Energy.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Staff are great, big thanks to Simon and Deione, they guided me through the process, helped in every way, a 100% trustworthy company. Installation neat and tidy, roofers A+ electrical install again A+, after service excellent, just lift the phone and like Mr Ben they just pop out of nowhere to answer any queries. Biggest mistake should’ve did it 6 years ago.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. EECO Energy recently completed a solar PV and battery installation at our home in Lisburn, and we couldn’t be happier. The roofing and electrical teams were skilled, tidy, and clearly took pride in their work.

From the first conversation with Stuart, to the installation, the customer service was consistently excellent.

The whole process was smooth, well‑explained, and professionally delivered. We’d happily recommend EECO Energy to anyone looking for a reliable solar installer.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Just had 11.7kw of Panels with a 16kw battery installed by Eeco Energy. It's been a great experience. Simon took the time to call out and spent almost 3 hours explaining not only the process, but the benefits of what he felt was the right amount of kit for our needs, which was to be as close to off grid as possible. The Solar panels (26) went up without any issues last Tuesday and on Thursday the electricians came and installed the battery, inverter and Iboost for the hot water. All the installers were friendly and courteous doing a swift and efficient install and keeping me informed of what they were doing throughout the day. When it first went live, and for a brief period, the app showed a solar generation of 11,500watts from an 11,700 watt array! In the 3 days since, we have drawn virtually no electric from the grid, but sold energy back ( although waiting for our G99 application for electricity buyback to complete). We have our house running on solar, the battery fully charged by midday, and the hot water tank full after a few hours. At night, the battery has been powering the whole house, and we have seen 39% to 40% battery remaining in the morning as solar kicks in and starts the process over again. So far very happy and excited to see how it performs over an extended period, but I have every confidence in the install. Simon has been very quick to respond to queries afterwards as well. Highly recommended.

Fantastic service from start to finish, Stuart was excellent on giving all the information needed, the job was completed 4 days after we paid the deposit, both the panel installation team and electricians were great and the standard of workmanship was outstanding.
